JPW Strategies LLC was established in August 2012 in the State of Michigan. JPW Strategies offers specialized consulting in the following areas: municipal government, contract negotiations, strategic planning, automotive client relations management and operations streamlining.

Meet the CEO of JPW Strategies
Shani J. Penn has served as chief of staff to one elected official and two appointed officials. She has also served as senior strategy advisory in the executive office of the Governor of the State of Michigan.
Prior to joining the public sector, Shani worked in the private sector for the Chrysler corporation in Michigan, New York and Illinois where she specialized in automotive dealer client management, developing dealer relationships, maintaining dialogue around problems and possible solutions, product needs, competitive issues, and ways to improve dealer value.
While at Chrysler Shani served in various management positions that helped her build the skills to begin serving in dynamic leadership roles in the public sector in her hometown Detroit and in Southeastern Michigan.
Ms. Penn’s led the internal team responsible for streamlining the Detroit’s solid waste refuge /trash collection initiative that resulted in two private contractors acquiring a 5 year contract to improve the trash collection services in the City of Detroit. This was done in her role as chief of staff to the emergency manager, Kevyn Orr during Detroit’s historical bankruptcy.
